Frequently Asked Questions

Q. How can I find out more information about Bear Creek Outfitters' offerings? How can I schedule a trip?

A. Contact Tim at (303) 601-0888 or Kip at (970) 234-4852.

Q. What should I bring on a Bear Creek Outfitters trip? (updated 8/07)

A. Unless you are staying at Bear Creek Ranch, you will do your own cooking. Bring groceries, beverages, paper plates, eating utensils, paper towels, cups, and toiletries. If we have more than one group staying at a ranch simultaneously, we suggest pooling your food so everyone can eat at the same time and use the kitchen more efficiently. (We will help with this.)
  • Potable water will be provided, any other beverages of choice will be your responsibility.
  • 2-Way Radio, GPS Device, Compass, Whistle, Flashlight (and batteries), binoculars, a camera or video camera, lots of film or memory. - Sleeping Bag/Bedroll and pillow. You do not need to bring heavy winter sleeping gear; wood heat and sturdy construction make this a very comfortable stay.
