Hunters are you looking for a great hunt at a reasonable price? This outfitter hunts private land and the Gunnison National Forest adjacent to the ranches. What is unique to their operation is that there private land cuts the access to public hunting areas. The public just has to work too hard to get to the areas adjacent to the ranch. This opens up a lot more area for their hunters. They have guided and unguided options available. I hunted this area last season and had a great time. The guided hunts include 1guide per 3 hunters (1x3), Lodging, Meals, trophy care and hunt transportation. The ranch has “Hot Showers”, a recreation room with Satellite TV, Lounge Area, pool table, bunk house for sleeping, Dining Cabin for meals. Prices below are for 5 days 6 nights hunt from the lodge with more days available for additional fee. Season dates Aug 29 – Sept 27Muzzle Loader Elk, Deer and Bear ($2300 Special) All muzzleloader tags are draw you can hunt archery Elk, Deer and Bear. Season Dates Sept 12 - 201st Rifle Season (Elk& Bear Hunting Only) $2500 must draw for either sex or cow tags. Season dates Oct 10 -14. 2nd Rifle Season (Elk, Bear and Mule Deer) $2500 bull elk tag over the counter must draw for Mule Deer tag and Cow Elk tag. Season dates Oct 17-25.3rd Rifle season (Elk, Bear and Mule Deer) $2000 bull elk tag over the counter must draw cow elk & mule deer tags. Season dates Oct 31 – Nov 6. 4th Rifle season (Elk, Bear and Mule Deer) $2000 must draw all tags. Season Dates Nov 11-15. “Unguided Hunts”The unguided hunts take place from your own remote cabin that is on private land where hunting is done and on the adjacent Gunnison National Forest. These hunts are 5 day 6 nights with more days available for a fee. The cabins have 8 beds a kitchen to cook your meals and cooking utensils. You can hire a cook for $150 a day. 2009 pricing.
